Tigard to Eureka

I had a dream a couple of nights ago...we had brought bacon on this trip (in my dream) and Karl needed to cook it...right now...and he was not cooperating...what’s up with that?! So I share this dream in the morning and have confirmed that I am crazy...end of story? Not. What does Karl cook for breakfast? BACON! I loved this! Brent tries to convince him that his dream was about lobster....😂😂😂

After setting the GPS we left Tigard amidst the left turns and right turns finally coming out on the I-5 and we continue on our journey towards Berkeley. We are quite concerned about the air quality from the California forest fires. Flights have been cancelled in and out of San Francisco. Yu's classes have been cancelled for the week so we decided to head there ahead of schedule. This is reminiscent of the fires we had last summer.

We travelled the road from Grants Pass to the coast. What a beautiful drive! like going through Cathedral Grove but much longer. We came out at Crescent City...the beaches...wow...we definitely need to return.

Hard to see ...we are above the clouds in this

....smoke and fog mixed

We finally arrived in Eureka after an 8 hr drive...and it’s dark so we have no idea what it looks like out there...night all 😴
