La Connor

I was on a mission....to La Connor where this amazing little quilt shop lives. Indigo Stitch and Sylvia Pippen is the owner. Her designs and patterns combine sashiko and appliqués which are very colorful and striking. I also fell in love with some of her fabric. So worth the trip....and yes I bought some stuff 😉

The seaside town is very quaint and has quite a few little artsy style shops. It was very quiet today but on a weekend or in the summer it bustles.

After a couple of hrs in the quilt shop, we did a little walkabout

We then decided to go for some food and Valentina took us to the most amazing restaurant that specializes in oysters. They are situated right on the water above an oyster farm. On the drive to the restaurant we came across this huge field of gourds
