Toi

We head back to the Tokyo Train station, got off at the Otemachi station, and learning from our previous experience we chose to exit at Otemachi. While walking through the station we discovered you can actually walk from the Otemachi station to the Tokyo station underground through a lovely art gallery.  We hang around the Tokyo station and had lunch until it was time to take the train to Shuzenji. I am already very tired as I was awake at 3:30 am. What’s up with that!

It took about one hr on the Shinkansen to Mishima where we transferred to the local line that went to Shuzenji

we were met by Minako and Tomie. Lots off hugs and happy tears it is so wonderful to see them! Our luggage is quickly loaded and we are on our way to a lovely onsen in Toi which is a 30 min drive and on the ocean. 

We arrived in time to catch a sunset. Wow!

Dinner was a huge buffet! So many choices, including alcohol! Saki, beer and “strong whiskey” 😁

Minako brought this wine which was aged under the ocean at 17° It was delicious!

After more buffet food for breakfast we headed back to Shuzenji to meet up with Yuko.
