Many of you have been to our home and may or may not remember the old couch and loveseat that had the foot rest at either end...well it's gone now! Brent wanted to replace it with the same thing and the discussion that followed lasted a couple of days. I wanted our living room to be functional but yet a bit more classier than the rumpus room feel. I fell in love with this couch and kept saying “just sit here for a moment”....sigh...”just a moment longer”
We compromised and settled for just the couch. Yup, it’s leather...and yellow...the thought was that the loveseat and couch would be too much yellow. Now Brent really loves the footrest so we settled for two matching chairs and there is a footrest on each. It's a win win...I got the yellow leather couch and he got his chair with a footrest.
So after the heavy decision we were told that it would take a minimum of five weeks for the couch and three months for the chairs! Are you kidding? We settled for the floor model and ordered another chair. The couch we had no choice but to order.
Meanwhile I sold the old couch and loveseat and the living room has only two chairs...one is the new one. We would take turns sitting in the new one 😂
The couch finally arrived after waiting more than six weeks...while we were in California. Then we had to wait yet another week because they only delivered on Thursdays and the truck was full...now the mind is playing tricks and I'm thinking....yellow? What was I thinking?! But with red walls....
It was so worth the wait! 😁...now we wait for the other chair...
