Bags are packed and we sample a taste of Japan (thanks Atsumi) the night before we leave. Ready or not here we come!
Checked into the Best Western and headed to the Keg for dinner. Then we were on a mission to find potato chips for Akiko! We lucked out and bought a whole box (30 pkgs). It was a challenge packing them into our carryon luggage but we did it...except a few that went into Brent’s coat pockets ððð
I took all these pics with my iPad because my camera was buried beneath more chips!
....noooo Brent...these are for Akiko!
Up at 5 am to catch the 6:30 shuttle to the Kelowna airport. (Deja Vu we did this going to Germany!) Just the beginning to our very long day. Our 35 min flight to Vancouver didn’t leave until 9:35. Ate breakfast at the airport and hung around until we boarded at 2:05.
What does one do at the airport to kill time? Just a thought...
There’s our plane
Sunset? For the next 5 hrs ðĪŠ
Bwhahaha ...says he did not get any sleep. We did splurge on our seats to premium economy. A recommendation made by Marie’s mom and what a difference. We'll never go back!
Arrived 4:30 pm Tokyo time and we arrived at our hotel at 7:30....after 3 trains and almost got lost in the last 3 blocks. Brent is my hero I would never have made it on my own ð
That bed never looked so good ðĪŠ
Note for future trips. We purchased our train tickets online from home. Got a 72 hr pass. This made it so much easier at this end!
Yayyyy! Have an incredible trip!
