End of Reno week 1

So they have finished the hardwood and won't be back until next Monday.

I will paint the trim tomorrow and get ready for next week.

Walls look green here, but they are a gray/brown....interesting....

but the floors look awesome!

Everything is so dusty! Momoka, should I wait for you?! :-)

 

Antonia, you may end up sleeping on all of these mattresses! Ever hear of the fairytale the Princess and the Pea? Where the princess sleeps on a pile of mattresses and the pea is between the bottom two and she feels it?! We could take turns and see if we are a princess or not, even Brent can try! Lol...

Storm of 2015

Yesterday's storm will go down in the history books for sure. It was reported that the winds were 105 km/hr.

It was pretty scary around town. Luckily no reports of injuries, just lots and lots of damage.

These are pictures that I took from our place.

Renovation

Since we have no students in the house, we thought we would endeavor a renovation.

What were we thinking!

The journey begins with clearing stuff out. Rooms are messy as I didn't start taking pics until after we began clearing things. Oh well...
