The drive to the Oregon coast was very pleasant. Although the weather was crazy! It was like turning off a light switch .... Rain, flick, no rain, flick, hail, flick, sunshine, flick, rain....lol...

Arriving in Astoria, Oregon....this is the mouth of the Columbia River

We stopped for lunch in Astoria. The restaurant was right on the water and we watched sea lions swim by...
We had to make a run for the truck...it was hailing!
Which melted immediately... Of course...

Arrived in Gearhart a little too early for checking into our accommodation so we explored some...

Better be nicer tomorrow so we can walk the beach at least!
