We got up very early to prepare for Yu's departure from the Castlegar (Cancelgar) airport. We have been watching the weather reports and flight status for days now. Flying from Castlegar at this time of the year is a gamble and flights are cancelled often. It is frustrating to everyone trying to fly in or out.
The first flight of the day was cancelled, so we hung around hoping for the cloud cover to lift and thankfully it did, but not in time for the girls to connect to the flight from Vancouver to Japan. Instead they get to hang out with one of their favorite teachers in Vancouver! So there was some good to come of this
It was really hard to capture Mayu's Homestay brother & sister....they were very active...but sooo cute!

I thought I was blurry eyed, but it was the camera (that's my story & I'm sticking to it!)
