Cruising the Rhine

We spent most of the day cruising on the Rhine. Picnic hamper complete with wine...It was sooo relaxing! And the sun put in an appearance too! What more could we ask 😍

We went on a “3hr tour” but the weather did not get rough and we did not end up on an uncharted desert island ...bahaha...(Gilligan’s Island)

...and then when one drops ones glasses in the water...brrrrrr

Neunkirchen Seelscheid, Bonn & Bad Honnef

We arrived at our weekend destination in Neunkirchen seelscheid and managed to have a relaxing morning...enjoying a cup of coffee and walking around the garden. The weather is so nice here!

Beatte took us for a tour around the countryside in her electric car...so cool

Met up with Reika and her parents and spent the afternoon with them. So grateful to have some time with them 😘

Cologne

Antonia and Anne safely escorted us to the right platform which enabled us to get on the right train to Cologne. There was a train before ours that was called the Party Train....everyone on board was definitely on a mission to having a good time! It was only 11 am and the drinking had definitely started...made us wonder if we were making a bad decision 😂😂😂

We were greeted by Svenja, Leonie and Beatte in Cologne...the girls are so tall...or perhaps I am shrinking?! After dropping our bags at the car we headed off to have a bite of lunch and explored a bit of the city. The Dom was spectacular! I kept thinking this is only a movie... Then we took a tour on a hop on and off bus....so much to see
