Remembrance Day Assembly

Every year for Remembrance Day LVR holds a short assembly. Brent has organized many of these events and does such a wonderful job.

It is so amazing that we have come this far in history...we should never forget those that have lost their lives fighting for us. Forever grateful.

The girls have been given a task...lighting candles as the honour roll is called for all the Nelson High Schools students who lost their lives during WW1 & WW2.

A student from Japan, Germany & Canada....together...🌈

Yay Bombers!

I scooped these pics of the team from fb 😉

I made baguettes for the first time...

Ilka and Sophia made dinner. “Vancouver” soup. Pfannkuchen for those that can say it! I will never get it right...

Splashed in her face 😂

Breakfast....eggs Benedict with seafood hollandaise sauce. Yes, Ilka ate it all! Woot!

Ilka and I stood outside in a very long lineup for the ski swap. Over 90 min...came home with a new jacket.
Thanks to Reika she has the boots, pants and a spare jacket and she is ready for 🎿
