Vancouver July 2017

Brent and I made a journey to visit family on the Island without any kids. It was so weird. But we got in a very good visit with everyone.

On the return home we decided to stay in Vancouver for 3 nights. We stayed at the Times Square Suites on Denman and Robson. Great location! The room was very nice but there was a lot of noise from the air conditioner and when we turned it off and opened windows there was the street noise. Oh well.

Yuna was still in Vancouver attending summer school so we got to hang out with her. Gosh we miss her...she... maybe not so much as the teasing was at the best...lol...

Our first adventure was a trip to Steveston. Love, love, ❤️

Nelson is how far?!

Next day Yuna and I rented bikes and Brent jogged around Stanley Park. Brent took over the camera and got some great shots!

After we had lunch we girls had a pedicure and Brent went down for a nap

We then walked down to English Bay

Celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday!

Our weekend began with the arrival of two very special friends.

Tomie and Minako from Izu-shi 🎉

Our first evening together was spent with Chris and Carolyne. We really enjoyed getting to know them!
...one of these days I will learn to check my camera before taking pictures!  Supposed to have auto focus but my fingers keep playing with the dials 😜 that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Minako did share the cheesecake. It was a struggle on her part. She must have felt the evil looks from Yuna 😜

Sunday was a low key day and Minako wanted to try mowing the lawn. It was hard she said!
