More of Tofino 2016

This beach was so cool to photograph. I really learned lots and even my out of focus shots are kinda cool.

Hello Japan!

Waiting for fish and chips....yummm! This was at our resort.

Sleeping? ...or Not sleeping? It's my story and I say she's sleeping!

Our new tradition ...Raclette on Christmas Day

Merry Christmas! We spent the next day sitting next to the fire and watching the waves crash onto the shore. There was rain, wind & hail. So thankful for  the view from our room :-)

Tofino 2016

Since I have been on this learning curve with my camera it has been taking a lot longer to post process my pictures. But it does make a difference. I also have had to learn how to use a new app which allows me to blog from my iPad.  Cuts into my doing nothing time ;-)

After spending 4 nights in Nanaimo which included a great visit with Brent's folks in Courtenay we headed to Tofino on the West coast. Shopping is limited there so we were prepared to bring food stuff with us. Hang with us I tell you and you will never go hungry!

On the drive we stopped for a few photo ops...look Mr. Frog!

It was a beautiful day

We stayed at a resort called Pacific Sands. It is stunning! Right on the beach. We were definitely spoiled.

View from our deck

Went for a walk on the beach as I wanted to catch the sunset.

Dinner first night. Butterflied prawns, bacon wrapped scallops, marinated chicken, brusselsprouts and rice.
Broiled in the oven and of course we set off the smoke detector!

There are those that wear wetsuits at Christmas ...

...and then those that don't!

Ten!!

Still wearing the tag from the store! Lol...
