Vancouver

I seem to be having some troubles with my blog app so bear with me as I try to work on this.

Brent had a conference in Vancouver this week and Yuna had to pick up her new passport, so we tagged along and had a great time. He would get up early and head off to his conference. Yuna would work on her homework for a few hours and I got to read. She and I would then head out in search of food and a little exploring.

This was the view from our hotel. You can just see the edge of the BC Place Stadium.

We also found tickets to a concert....Chicago & Earth Wind & Fire...so exciting!

Volleyball

Volleyball season has kept us pretty busy. Between classes and volleyball Yuna is one tired young lady. But she is loving it!

I have been playing some more with my camera and photoshop. It's been an ongoing process and I am really enjoying myself. But it does keep me away from updating my blog often.

I did try to keep these in some order but it confused me and I lost... :-)

 

Yuna is really focused when she plays and I need to practice more with getting better shots...I just can't keep up to these kids...we also had a great laugh when she learned that "chin" means "it's in"...lost in translation :-)

Spokane 2016

For our annual trek to Spokane, we tried something different....and had an awesome time.

We found that there is an annual Chinese Lantern Festival down at the Riverfront Park. What a beautiful display.

Shopping was intense once again....11 hrs this year.....spread out over three days! Mwahaha!
