Catching up

Wow, time is flying by! I just realized that pictures have not been posted for 2 weeks!

We've had a couple of birthdays...my 30th...

...and then it was Brent's a week later!

Brent loves pizza!

The girls went River rafting with the International students

Antonia treated us to Schnitzel Wiener art...It was soooo delicious!

My grandson, Dominic was in a dog show...he looks so dapper!

Brent took both girls to the CBC tower again

Antonia waiting for Brent and Momoka to catch up...she has way too much energy!

The fall colors have started. What a difference in two weeks!

Love this shot of the flag!

...and finally the girls have cooked up a storm for the Global Perspectives sleepover at the school tonight.

Our Weekend

What a wonderful weekend! The Fall weather is perfect. Not too cold and not too hot.

After chores and homework on Saturday Antonia and I went for a hike. Brent and Momoka stayed behind to finish their work.

On the way home, we stopped at Taghum Beach. Someone had a swim! And it wasn't me!

We arrived home and decided it was time to look for a friend for Boots. So off we went to the SPCA.

When we first met her...Momoka and I both said look...Mittens! Boots and Mittens! Lol..

So everyone meet Mitsy...

Sunday, Momoka and I went to the Garlic Festival in New Denver

Plenty of things to see...

The produce was so fresh. These onions were huge!

These were actual bees buzzing...

Momoka and I ate lunch on the beach. A huge windstorm came up, but didn't last long.

This is what we brought home. One cabbage weighed 6 lbs

Meanwhile...

These are from Antonia's camera. Antonia and Brent hiked past Pulpit Rock, past the flagpole....all the way up to the CBC tower....5 hrs!

It almost looks like Brent is still here from last weekend!

CBC tower...clouds look ominous

Love the colors

You can see Nelson in the background

Look carefully and you can see the flagpole! Barely...

Thanks Antonia for sharing, these are awesome pics!

Now it's back to work for a rest!
